As a school we are always looking to develop our children and young people, spiritually, morally, socially and culturally.
We have recently taken part in our very first Build-A-Banner Project. The project involved learning about various issues that surround us as a community. The finished products are fantastic. We now have some beautiful banners which will form part of our Coppice School Interactive Tour for visitors and for children and young people who are new to our school.
Look out for our banners and QR readers around school.
We are pleased to announce that school is now a member of The Citizenship Foundation. The foundation has a website which you and your child can access and explore things that may help you to explain complex issues such as voting, global issues and many other areas of life that are sometimes hard to explain.
We are really proud to be part of this foundation and the teachers have access to many resources to help our children and young people understand, sometimes difficult subjects, that affect us each and every day.

Each Friday we have an assembly to celebrate the achievements of our pupils - this includes class awards and special awards. We host a parents assembly each term, to celebrate our pupils progress in their 'No Limits' clubs, and how pupils have challenged themselves in different ways.
