Class Dojo

Communication with Parents & Carers

At Coppice we know that not every child will be able to come home from school and tell families members what they have done.

We also know that sharing up to date and accurate information on;

  • What your child may have eaten that day
  • How many times they have been to the toilet
  • What they have learnt in lessons
  • What they have done to make you feel proud

This list is not exhaustive, and we encourage families to work with the class teacher on what information they would like us to send home.

Historically we used to send handwritten notes in books home with this information however, this year we have moved to Class Dojo.

Good old-fashioned communication!

Whilst it is great to move with the times and share information at the click of a button, we know it will never replace meeting someone face to face or chatting on the phone.

We have two parent and carer open evenings where you can discuss your child's progress, we also have many events which you are all invited to. We host celebration assemblies, and our door is always open if you just want to pop in for a chat and a cuppa.

Please don't be a stranger, if you ever need to talk to one of our team don't hesitate to get in touch.

We also have a general enquiries page on our website so click here if you want to drop us a message there.
